Jez Broun interprets classic songs in his own distinct style drawing influence from Hank Marvin, The Beatles, Carlos Jobin, Django Rheinhardt and Gary Moore to mention a few of my guitar heroes.

He performs as a street musician in the city of Bath (occasionally with virtuoso players such as Jim Cook on saxophone) and he organises and plays in a band called Jezzfusion. Bookings are invited.

Jez Broun is a self taught guitarist. As a teenager he was banned from playing the guitar by his father - a grammar school music teacher who considered the guitar a lazy instrument. He learned to play the cello instead and took up the guitar later in life and got to jam with legendary guitarists such as the late Gypie Mayo (ex lead guitarist of the Yardbirds* and Doctor Feelgood), Johhny Hepbir (gypsy jazz) and rising star Chris Nesbitt who has played with Tommy Emanuel! Yes, name dropping! He has made over 20 guitars, some of them innovative and two that he currently performs with. In 2019 he published a hardback book called Guitar Making Art.
